On March 19–20, 2026, ALT University named after Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpayev hosted a major scientific and industrial seminar titled: “Continuous Welded Rail and Expansion Joint Installation.”
The event brought together the leadership of the “Magistral Network Directorate” of JSC “NC “KTZ,” track distance managers, faculty, and students of the Transport Construction Department. The seminar addressed critical industry issues, including CWR maintenance technologies, scoring the condition of artificial structures, and digital documentation for track distances.
A highlight of the event was the recognition of regional partners. On behalf of the Rector of ALT University, Letters of Appreciation (Algys Khat) were presented to the track distance managers of Zhezkazgan, Sekseul, and Beyneu for their exceptional support in organizing student geodetic internships in 2025. All participants were awarded certificates of completion.
