ALT University continues its mission to promote sustainable development among the younger generation. On March 30, A.A. Torgaev, Senior Lecturer of the “ATS&BZhD” Department, conducted a field seminar for 11th-grade students at Gymnasium No. 132 in Almaty titled: “How to Make the World Better: Sustainable Development Goals.”
During the session, students explored the 17 UN Global Goals, ranging from climate action to ensuring environmental safety. The seminar sparked a lively discussion on how today’s youth can contribute to ecosystem preservation and improving the quality of life.
At the end of the meeting, A.A. Torgaev presented study opportunities at ALT University under the “Technogenic and Sanitary-Environmental Safety” program. Prospective students learned how to turn their passion for the environment into a successful career in ecology and safety. Such initiatives bridge the gap between schools and higher education, helping students make informed career choices.
